• a. A public official of grade 7 or higher in the national government or another local government with at least 3 years of work experience in the relevant field
• b. A staff member at the team-leader level or higher, or a person with equivalent or greater experience, in a relevant field at a public institution under the Act on the Management of Public Institutions, a local public enterprise under the Local Public Enterprises Act, or an invested/contributed institution under the Act on the Operation of Local Government-Invested and -Funded Institutions
• c. A person serving as an assistant professor or higher in a relevant field at a university under the Higher Education Act
• d. A professional engineer or holder of a doctoral degree with at least 1 year of work experience in the relevant field
• e. An expert in a relevant field recommended by a nonprofit private organization under Article 2 of the Assistance for Nonprofit, Non-Governmental Organizations Act
• f. Any other person with ample knowledge and experience in proposal evaluation or contracting in the relevant field

• Common: judge (candidate) registration application, security pledge, personal information provision consent form
• Applicants under eligibility requirements "a." to "c.": certificate of employment (career)
• Applicants under eligibility requirements "d." to "f.": certificate of employment, and supporting materials such as degree certificate, career certificate, and certification (copy)

3. After review by the Organizing Committee, selection results will be announced individually.

• Round 1: select within 18 persons (including 4 reserve judges)
• Candidate drawing by the 2026 Daegu International Design Award Organizing Committee — after assigning unique numbers among eligible persons, the committee members draw at random
• Final selection in order of high frequency and older age

• If selected as a judge, individual notice will be given and the appointment is deemed made without a separate procedure, with the letter of appointment sent to the email applied with. The appointment is deemed terminated once the evaluation is complete.
• Submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances, and selection may be canceled if the content stated in the submitted documents differs from the facts.
• Please be sure to enter a contact number (mobile phone number) on the registration application.
• The specialty field on the registration application must be entered by selecting the relevant field.
• If there are no eligible applicants, selection may not be made.
• For the fairness of the evaluation, please keep the fact of the candidate registration application confidential from outside parties.
• Attending judges will be paid an allowance within the budget.
